MERRIMACK, N.H. (May 24, 2016) — Automotive business software solutions firm ASA Automotive Systems has released G4 POS, a mobile point-of-sale solution designed for use with its TireMaster Enterprise software.
Built to run on mobile devices and PCs, ASA said G4 allows technicians to enter vehicle inspections notes on a mobile tablet and store them electronically, saving time and paper. The product is available now as an add-on for TireMaster Enterprise users.
The company said G4 also empowers counterpeople to generate estimates — including good, better and best options, with side-by-side visual comparisons — and turn them into instant quotes and invoices or save them for follow-up marketing. This allows dealers to maintain a full record of items recommended, purchased and declined by consumers.
”This new product will pay for itself by increasing ticket value,” ASA President Ken Halle said. “It helps you remarket declined services, sends alerts about service intervals for upselling and ensures service writers capture all the required labor components in their estimates.”
Shops using Epicor can access the parts and labor catalogs, vehicle service checklists and service intervals within the G4 application, ASA said.
The module also integrates text messaging in TME, allowing dealers to send text messages to customers directly from POS, order inquiry and AR inquiry, ASA said. Users can automate the process of sending texts to customers with appointment reminders, vehicle ready notifications and more.
