IRVING, Texas (May 3, 2016) — The Universal Technical Institute (UTI) will offer a two-day Service-Edu advanced automotive repair training course, May 13-14, at its Irving campus.
The auto technician program will feature a keynote presentation by Donny Seyfer, an ASE master mechanic with more than 30 years of experience and co-owner of Seyfer Automotive Inc. in Wheat Ridge, Colo. He is an ASE-certified service consultant, AMI-accredited automotive manager and the chairman of the Automotive Service Association (ASA), according to UTI.
Registration is $49 per person and includes four training courses taught by experts from Gates Corp., Mahle Aftermarket Inc., NGK Spark Plugs Co. Ltd. and Timken Co.
Each manufacturer's training course is focused on its specific area of expertise, such as accessory belt drive systems, coolant systems, engine components, filtration, ignition system, thermal, timing belt systems, tools and equipment and wheel end, with practical information on how to diagnose failures and repair them.
Attendees will have opportunities to win raffle prizes, including a NGK Spark Plugs giveaway of two tickets to a Richard Petty Driving experience anywhere in the U.S.
