RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (April 29, 2016) — Sumitomo Rubber North America L.L.C. (SRNA) will be challenging the public to “Grip the Moment” as part of its 2016 Falken brand marketing campaign.
“Grip the Moment is a perfect slogan to carry out our marketing efforts,” said Rick Brennan, vice president of marketing for SRNA's Falken Tires brand unit. “Our tires are engineered to grip some of the most challenging on- and off-road environments, and we want to relate that same idea to our consumers.”
The gripping campaign will be promoted on broadcast, digital and social media platforms featuring professional athletes in adventure-driven sports, SRNA said. The goal is to highlight various adventures and activities Falken Tires provides by connecting people to their destination.
Falken has posted a 15-second teaser of the marketing campaigning on YouTube.
SRNA said it hopes the Grip the Moment compaign will continue the brand's momentum after Falken's success with the multi-award-winning “Conquer Your World” campaign of 2013-14.
In addition, Falken will continue to optimize brand exposure through its partnership with Major League Baseball, the company said.
