Kumho kicking off rebate promo

ATLANTA (April 28, 2015) — Kumho Tire U.S.A. is springing into spring with a rebate offer on five tires.

With the deal, which begins May 1 and runs to June 30, consumers purchasing a set of four of any of the eligible premium tires in the promotion can receive a rebate of up to $80.

Tires they can choose from include the Ecsta 4X II or Ecsta PS91 for a mail-in rebate of $80. In addition, the Crugen HT51 and Solus TA71 qualify for a mail-in rebate of $60 and the Ecsta PS31 is eligible for a mail-in rebate of $40. Rebate forms are required and must be postmarked by July 31.

Kumho said the Ecsta 4X II, which features “precise handling, ride comfort and quiet all-season capabilities,” is optimized by the tire maker's proprietary ESCOT Casing Technology, designed to improve steering response and increase tread life.

The PS91 ultra-high-performance summer tire was designed to have “optimal stability at high speeds, reduced road harmonics for a quiet ride and enhanced dry performance characteristics,” according to the company. It features “precise handling in wet and dry conditions on and off the track that will satisfy the ultimate super car enthusiast,” Kumho said.

The Solus TA71 features “exceptional road feel and tight, responsive steering,” Kumho said, with “quiet comfort and astounding performance on wet and snowy roads” for luxury sedans and “the people who love to drive them.”

The Crugen HT51 is a touring, all-season highway terrain tire “engineered to handle everyday business in absolute confidence as well as in workload applications,” according to the company. It features enhanced stability and traction on snow-covered roads, and improved driving performance in wet and dry conditions.

Featuring a balance of high-speed stability and low road noise, the Ecsta PS31 is a “value-oriented” ultra-high-performance summer tire that, Kumho said, offers structural enhancements to prevent irregular wear for longer tread life, “outstanding resistance against hydroplaning and increased cornering performance as well as excellent traction in wet conditions.”
