Hunter said inspection results are automatically paired with AutoPoint's electronic MultiPoint Inspection functionality and inte- grated with its dealer management system.
This digital process is designed to enhance a service department's performance, allowing dealerships to streamline the service process and boost efficiency and profit potentials.
Hunter said its Quick Check inspection system identifies needed service opportunities in less than two minutes, checking wheel alignment, tire tread depth, tire inflation, battery health, diagnostic codes and braking balance.
Quick Check and Quick Tread results can be instantly recalled by the service advisor and technician within the AutoPoint system. Service advisors can present recommendations to consumers via text message or email, highlighting the Hunter inspection results within a self-guided, digital experience, supported by educational videos and written content.
In addition to providing an eMPI, the AutoPoint solution tracks approved and deferred service to drive additional revenue in the service drive, Hunter said.
