RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (April 26, 2016) — Nissan Motor Co. has selected the Falken Ziex ZE001 A/S as an OE fitment on the 2016 Nissan Rogue crossover vehicle.
The fitment is the first for Sumitomo Rubber North America L.L.C. (SRNA), the producer of the Falken brand, according to Rick Brennan, vice president of marketing for Falken Tires. He noted that the high-performance Ziex ZE001 A/S was “specifically

designed” to complement the Nissan Rogue, offering a low-noise, comfortable riding experience on all road surfaces and conditions.
“The Nissan Rogue is the perfect vehicle to display Falken Tires' engineering prowess, versatile handling, every-day dependability and advanced safety developments,” Mr. Brennan said, adding the company anticipates gaining more OE fitments with Nissan.
The fitment is size 225/60R18. SRNA claims the tire offers “excellent stability and handling” in all types of dry, wet and even light snow conditions, while also offering low noise generation.
Nissan assembles the Rogue at plants in Smyrna, Tenn.; Busan, South Korea; and Kyushu, Japan.
