MEXICO CITY— Federal-Mogul Motorparts, a division of Federal-Mogul Holdings Corp., has earned Mexico's National Quality Award in recognition of the “world class quality systems, global competitiveness and customer-focused success” of its automotive friction facility in Tepotzotlán, Mexico, the firm said.
Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto presented the award to Martin Hendricks, president, Global Braking and EMEA, Federal-Mogul Motorparts, and Victor Cota, Tepotzotlán braking plant manager, during a recent ceremony at Los Pinos, Mexico's official presidential residence and office.
Established in 2001, Federal-Mogul's 150,695-sq.-ft. Tepotzotlán plant produces a broad range of premium-quality replacement brake pads and related friction products for OE customers and also marketed under Federal-Mogul Motorparts' Wagner brand.
“We are honored to receive the Mexico National Quality Award, which reflects the hard work and dedication of our employees in Tepotzotlán,” Mr. Hendricks said. “Their commitment to quality, innovation and service enables them to consistently meet and exceed the exacting standards of the most demanding OE customers in the braking industry.
