FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (April 14, 2016) — The Equipment and Tool Institute (ETI) has hired Rick Matz as the organization's technical manager.
Mr. Matz will help manage the ETI TEK-NET Library, including helping member companies understand the library and its data, according to ETI, and he also will seek information from OEMs when it is determined that the information member companies need to design and build their tools is missing.
He also will be responsible for developing and gathering technical information and articles for the Institute's publications; coordinating the meeting activities of Vertical Groups and the Technical Committee; representing ETI in its cooperative efforts with other trade associations; and serving as the ETI representative and attending key SAE and ISO committee meetings that affect tool and equipment design and manufacturing.
Mr. Matz attended Lawrence Institute of Technology and also studied business data processing and did course work at the National Institute of Technology in electronics engineering technology before joining several tech and software companies.
