KEMP, Texas (March 29, 2016) — Commercial lighting manufacturer Larson Electronics has launched a 33-watt Class 1, Division 2 LED strip light equipped with a 20-foot cord fitted with an optional explosion-proof cord cap.
The HAL-48-33W-LED-1227-20C hazardous location strip light is designed to provide a durable, high-output lighting solution for applications where Class 1, Division 2 compliance is required. The powerful 4-foot LED strip light produces 2,416 lumens, operates from 120 to 277 volts AC and is suitable for a variety of applications, Larson said.
This strip light is constructed of powder-coated extruded aluminum for strength and durability and carries an IP54 rating, providing limited ingress protection against dust and basic protection against splashing water. The product also is weather resistant, suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, and ideal for areas where wetness or dusty conditions are commonly encountered.
Mounting for the strip light is provided by two adjustable end brackets that allow the operators to mount it to flat surfaces and then adjust the light 170 degrees vertically. Measuring almost 48 inches in length, Larson said the light is ideal for areas where space is limited, such as illuminating control panels and under cabinets.
