YC Rubber adds Duraturn warranties

PASADENA, Calif. (March 29, 2016) — YC Rubber Co. L.L.C. is now backing seven Duraturn-brand passenger and light truck tire models in its Mozzo and Travia lines with limited mileage warranties.

According to YC Rubber, the warranties are valid for tires purchased and operated in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.

“Our comprehensive warranty program will give tire dealers a strong selling tool and provide confidence to consumers to give Duraturn a try,” said Ken Coltrane, vice president of YC Rubber/Duraturn Tires.

The tires backed by limited mileage warranties are:

• Mozzo Touring (70,000 miles) — an all-season tire available in 25 T-, H- and V-rated sizes designed for fitments on popular sedans and crossovers; also includes a 30-day satisfaction guarantee.

• Mozzo 4S+ (50,000 miles) — A wider-sized tire for passenger cars and minivans, available in 24 sizes with speed ratings from T to W.

• Mozzo STX (50,000 miles) — Designed for use on SUVs and pick-ups, available in 20 V- and W-rated sizes ranging from 20-26 inches in diameter and a symmetrical tread design.

• Mozzo Sport (50,000 miles) — Developed for today's mid-level sports sedans and coupes, the tire features a double nylon spiral wrap technology. It is available in 40 W- and Y-rated sizes.

• Mozzo 4S (45,000 miles) — Available in 45 popular S- to V-rated sizes, the 4S is designed to offer all-around performance in wet and dry conditions.

• Travia H/T (60,000 miles) — A premium CUV/SUV all-season tire available in 26 sizes. This tire also includes Duraturn's 30-day satisfaction guarantee.

• Travia A/T (50,000 miles) —  A premium on and off-road light truck tire available in 25 sizes.

YC Rubber, a subsidiary of Shanxi Yanchang Petroleum (Group) Co. Ltd., also warrants that every new consumer tire is free from defects in workmanship or material for five years from the date of manufacture through the life of the original tread of a new tire less 2/32-inch.
