AAMCO to help franchisees build biz

    HORSHAM, Pa. (March 29, 2016) — American Driveline Systems Inc. has engaged Salesforce.com Inc. to help generate more sales leads for franchisees of its AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care program.

    Using Salesforce.com's customer relations management tools, American Driveline will be able to “dramatically increase the speed and efficiency with which we are able to assist our (AAMCO) franchise owners in analyzing their businesses and taking action to improve performance," said Jim Gregory, CFO of American Driveline and AAMCO Transmission Inc.

    “At AAMCO, we are committed to the success of our franchisees, and the Salesforce deployment will position the brand for continued growth,” Mr. Gregory said. “Salesforce allows AAMCO to bring world-class support, enterprise-class business dashboards and key performance indicators, and real-time account management to small and medium-size business owners.”

    In collaboration with Salesforce partner CRM Science Inc., AAMCO was able to customize and deploy Service Cloud, Community Cloud and Analytics Cloud for its franchisees.

    Among the customizations are a key performance indicator (KPI) analytics dashboard — which enables franchisees to assess their businesses quickly and compare performances with prior years in local, regional and national markets — and a personalized home screen so franchisees can gain visibility into training, support needs and the latest consumer reviews on their businesses.

    Nasi Jazayeri, executive vice president and general manager, Salesforce Community Cloud, added: “In the ‘age of the customer,' everyone and everything is becoming more connected, and companies must shift from selling products to creating customer experiences.

    “By deploying the Salesforce Customer Success Platform, AAMCO is providing its franchisees with the tools necessary to not only improve business performance, but to better meet the needs of today's connected customer.”

    AAMCO is driving to expand its franchise network, which stands at nearly 700 centers in North America. Interested candidates should have a minimum net worth of $250,000 and liquid assets of at least $65,000 per unit.

    Depending on the real estate site selected, franchisees can expect the total investment to be approximately $227,400 to $333,000 with a $39,500 initial franchise fee. Reduced franchise fees are available for honorably discharged veterans.

    Known for its transmission repair expertise, the company has evolved into a total car care brand providing a variety of services including brake repair, tune-ups, shocks and struts, routine maintenance and more. AAMCO was named to Entrepreneur magazine's 2016 Franchise 500, ranking at the top of the transmission repair category.
