Bradford promoted at GCR Tires

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 16, 2016) — Bridgestone Americas' GCR Tires & Service unit has promoted Doyle Bradford to executive director, service offering, and tasked him with leading the design and creation of a standard service offering that will reinforce GCR as a total solution.

Mr. Bradford has been with Bridgestone for more than 25 years, most recently as vice president, sales and operations in Bridgestone's company-owned operations group, which oversees the firm's GCR, TDS and C&F commercial service stores throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Other key roles have included vice president, sales for Bridgestone's commercial tire business.

“Doyle's rich industry experience and extensive knowledge of the commercial business have enabled him to develop a comprehensive understanding of effective service models,” said GCR President John Vasuta.

“His vision and expertise align with customer wants and needs, and will ensure that GCR delivers on its commitment to superior service.”

GCR operates more than 200 commercial tire and service outlets throughout the U.S. and eastern Canada, offering complete solutions for the trucking, construction, mining, industrial and agricultural segments.

The business unit also is one of the three largest commercial truck tire retreaders in North America, with 35 Bandag system retread plants.
