Triangle U.S. building sales mgt. team

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (March 11, 2016) — Triangle Tire USA L.L.C. has hired tire industry sales veterans Sidney “Sid” Parr and D. Tunney Vandevender to lead its commercial and consumer tire sales efforts, respectively.

Mr. Parr, director of commercial tire sales, brings nearly a quarter century of tire industry experience to Triangle, including time spent with Horizon Tire Co., CMA L.L.C. and American Pacific Industries.

Mr. Vandevender, manager of consumer tire sales, most recently was retail sales operations manager for Southern Tire Mart L.L.C. He also has experience with Bridgestone Americas and Goodyear going back over 20 years, according to his LinkedIn page.

“The proven track records and relationships that Sid and Tunney have established in the U.S. tire industry will be invaluable as we work to establish strategic, long-term relationships with key tire distributors and dealers, as well as with end users of our products,” said Triangle Tire USA CEO Manny Cicero.

Franklin-based Triangle Tire USA is the wholly owned subsidiary of China's Triangle Tyre Co. Ltd. It offers a complete product portfolio ranging from passenger and light truck to OTR tires.

Weihai-based Triangle Tyre Group celebrates its 40th year in business on April 8, 2016. The company was ranked 14th largest globally in 2014.
