OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (March 9, 2016) — Off-road performance parts retailer 4 Wheel Parts is opening a retail store in Overland Park, a Kansas City suburb.
The 8,000-sq.-ft., six-bay store is the retailer's first location in the Kansas City area and 69th nationwide. It also has five stores in Canada.
“There is an incredible off-road culture here in Kansas City from Jeeps and trucks to UTVs,” said Blaine Shipman, the Overland Park store manager.
“It's exciting for us to bring 4 Wheel Parts to the area and work alongside our customers to help them bring their dream builds to life.”
The company is planning a grand opening this weekend, with exclusive onsite discounts on many premium aftermarket products, a parking lot car crush, an appearance by members of the K.C. Jeep Club and lunch provided by K.C. BBQ.
Multiple vendors will be on site as well as a variety of vehicle builds, including custom Jeeps featuring products from Poison Spyder and Rubicon Express from Gladstone Chrysler, Dodge & Jeep.
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in hourly giveaways throughout the day, including the chance to win a $500 store shopping spree, the Compton, Calif.-based company said.
“…opening a new store in a brand new region provides us with the unique opportunity to get to know a new community and share our passion for off-roading and the off-road lifestyle with them,” said President and CEO Greg Adler. “We're looking forward to seeing everyone in the store and on the trail.”
4 Wheel Parts is a business unit of Transamerican Auto Parts.
