BROADVIEW, Ill. (Feb. 29, 2016) — Bosch Automotive Aftermarket North America has inked a multi-year deal renewing its technical partnership with 11-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champions Hendrick Motorsports.
The partnership between Bosch and Concord, N.C.-based Hendrick Motorsports dates back to 2001, when Bosch began supplying spark plugs to the team. The scope of their relationship has expanded to include alternators, starters, oxygen sensors, fuel injectors and fuel pumps, Bosch said.
Hendrick Motorsports is fielding its Sprint Cup circuit driver team of Jimmie Johnson, Chase Elliott, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kasey Kahne.
“It has been a privilege to be a member of the Hendrick Motorsports partner family for so many years, sharing successes and celebrating victories along the way,” said Tony Pauly, director of advertising and brand management for Bosch Automotive.
“The entire Hendrick Motorsports team has pushed the performance of Bosch products to new levels as demonstrated by the seven NASCAR Sprint Cup championships our partnership has generated during its tenure.”
