BETHESDA, Md. — The Auto Care Association (ACA) is now accepting registrations from companies that want to participate in the ACA's upcoming trade missions in Latin America.
The trade missions are part of the Market Development Cooperator Program (MDCP) award the ACA won recently from the U.S. Department of Commerce, the ACA said. The award was to help the auto industry increase exports to free trade agreement partners in Central and South America, it said.
The first trade mission, to Peru, will take place May 17-19, according to the ACA. The second, to Guatemala, will take place June 21-22, with an optional trip to El Salvador June 23-24.
“Trade missions are a cost-effective opportunity to gain first-hand market intelligence and open doors for U.S. companies seeking to enter and expand their presence in these growing markets,” said Bill Hanvey, ACA president and CEO.
“They also allow U.S. companies to pursue export opportunities by meeting directly with pre-screened potential clients in target markets.”
