Global Parts Network names COO

CRYSTAL LAKE, Ill. (Feb. 2, 2016) — Suzan Joyce has been named chief operating officer for Global Parts Network (GPN), a wholly-owned subsidiary of VIPAR Heavy Duty.

GPN operates parts distribution centers as well as brake manufacturing production centers for the VIPAR family of companies that provide replacement parts for commercial vehicle operators and maintenance facilities.

Ms. Joyce, who will continue in her role as chief financial officer for VIPAR companies, joined the firm in 2004 and was named CFO in 2008.

“Suzan has played a key role in the success of VIPAR Heavy Duty and has been highly involved in the planning and execution of our strategy for Global Parts Network,” said Steve Crowley, VIPAR's president and CEO. “Her dedication to the success of the organization and experience make her a great fit to lead the operations of GPN as we continue to grow and expand to serve the VIPAR Heavy Duty family of companies.”

With more than 20 years of professional accounting experience, Ms. Joyce has worked in both public accounting and private industry, according to GPN, and has “extensive experience in the automotive and trucking industries, as well as in manufacturing and distribution.”

She is a certified public accountant with an undergraduate degree in accounting from Illinois State University and a masters in business administration from Northern Illinois University.
