MONROE, Mich. (Jan. 27, 2016) — Tenneco Inc. has opened enrollment for its 2016 Expert Plus dealer loyalty program, which the firm said is designed to help automotive service businesses increase their share of the undercar service market.

The 2016 Expert Plus program provides members with an all-inclusive package of consumer promotions, trade incentives, free training programs, consumer education materials and point-of-sale merchandising tools, according to the Monroe-based company. The enrollment fee for 2016 is $100.

“The Expert Plus program is a comprehensive dealer loyalty program that aims to help our service partners increase their ride control and emissions control business,” said Sheryl Bomia, North America aftermarket programs manager for Tenneco.

“We're passionate about the success of our partners and confident that automotive service professionals receive valuable resources and sales support from Expert Plus throughout the entire year.”

Available for service professionals and shop owners who sell Monroe shocks and struts, Walker emissions control and Monroe Brakes products, the Expert Plus membership package includes Monroe's “Preferred Consumer” offers coupon book. It includes 10 offers allowing service professionals to extend a Monroe- or Walker-brand promotional offer beyond a program's standard period, Tenneco said.

This year's program, which coincides with the Monroe brand's 100th anniversary, features a Monroe 100th anniversary illuminated sign, which measures 24-by-18-inches and incorporates a digital clock.

Tenneco said the program also provides consumer-based educational materials, including ride control and emissions control flip books to assist in educating consumers about its products. Each member shop has access to a full calendar of consumer promotions and can take advantage of free, online technical training programs.

The program also includes a complete suite of point-of-sale and merchandising materials — including a 20-minute waiting room video, counter mat, fender cover and push/pull decals — along with a listing in the “Dealer Locator” section of the Monroe- and Walker-brand websites.

Tenneco said dealers who wish to learn more about Expert Plus or enroll in the program should contact their Tenneco sales representative.
