MACEDONIA, Ohio (Jan. 4, 2016) — Wheel distributor Blackburn OEM Wheel Solutions Inc. has acquired an additional facility to accommodate the demands of the company's continued growth.
The new facility provides essential office and warehouse space, along with additional shipping and receiving docks, according to Macedonia-based Blackburn, which claims it is the largest privately held distributor of OE steel and alloy wheel, wheel covers and center caps in the U.S.
The company, which was founded in 1983, relocated its corporate office to the new building located at 1001 Paster Court in Macedonia, a community of about 11,000 inhabitants southeast of Cleveland and with close access to Interstates 80, 480 and 271.
Torrey Blackburn, co-owner, said the acquisition of the new facility “enables us to meet the needs of our growing staff and improve our internal efficiencies. This acquisition will strengthen our position as a leader in the OEM wheel industry and improve our outstanding customer service.”
