WAALWIJK, the Netherlands (Dec. 23, 2015) — Industrial, truck and OTR tire maker Magna Tyres Group's newest addition to its sales team in Germany is Stefan Huber.

Mr. Huber, who has more than 15 years of sales experience in the German tire industry, according to Magna, will work focus on the southern part of the country, effective in January.

“Stefan will play an important role in the expansion of Magna Tyres on the German OTR and industrial tire market,” said Hein de Wind, Magna sales director. “With his experience in the tire business, we expect him to be a valuable addition to both our team and customers. As the global presence of Magna Tyres continues to grow, Stefan will support the further development of the company.”

Mr. Huber will offer sales support to all Magna dealers in the south of Germany, the company said, and will promote and expand recognition of Magna's new MTP Tires brand on the OTR tire market.

Waalwijk-based Magna has 10 sales offices worldwide and markets its products in more than 110 countries. The company provides tires for mining, construction, port handling and industrial purposes, especially designed for challenging applications. Magna recently added to its program truck tires for on/off road use and said it is further developing a new and special OTR winter tread pattern for various applications.

The company said it is continuing to expand its sales and distribution network and is planning to invest in a new 24,000-sq.-meter warehouse at its headquarters in the Netherlands to better serve the needs of its European partners in Germany, France and the Netherlands and provide enhanced service and availability for original equipment manufacturers including Terex, Liebherr and Sennebogen.
