STAUNTON, Va. (Dec. 15, 2015) — Federated Auto Parts has begun accepting nominations for its 2015 Shop of the Year award, which recognizes one shop each year that demonstrates excellence in areas such as customer service, repair quality, staff knowledge and community involvement.
Nominations must be received by Federated no later than Jan. 26. Shops may be self-nominated or nominated by others and will be evaluated using criteria established by Federated.
“The Federated Shop of the Year is considered a very prestigious honor by our membership,” said Phil Moore, senior vice president for Federated. “Federated members do business with so many outstanding shops that it is always a tough decision to name just one as the best of the best.”
Last year's Federated Shop of the Year, Freddie Kish's Complete Car Care Center of Waco, Texas, was nominated by Federated member Arnold Oil Co. of Austin.
Other past winners include Brighton Auto Service of Brighton, Mich., and Weathers Motors Inc. of Media-Lima, Pa.
