    FCA USA is offering road-hazard protection as part of its Mopar Complete 360 optional coverage.

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (Dec. 17, 2015) —  FCA US L.L.C. is offering buyers of new Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep or Ram vehicles the option to buy road hazard tire and wheel coverage as part of its enhanced Mopar “Complete 360” plan.

    Mopar Vehicle Protection (MVP), the service contract division of FCA US LLC, recently launched new vehicle protection plans that offer a combination of features and benefits it claims are not currently available in the marketplace.

    Complete 360 plans, available for purchase above and beyond basic coverage, provide vehicle owners hassle-free protection for five years/60,000 miles or six years/75,000 miles, FCA said. An “all-in” option includes the road-hazard protection.

    Depending on vehicle, plan term and type of oil specified, FCA said prices for the Mopar 360 plans range from $2,800 to $3,745, with an additional $800 to $900 when choosing the All-In Package.

    Highlights of the plans include:

    • Complete mechanical coverage for the entire vehicle, covering 5,000-plus components;
    • Complete vehicle scheduled and recommended maintenance including parts and services; and
    • Complete coverage for all mechanical wear and tear, such as wheel alignments, brakes (including pads and rotors), shocks and struts, wiper blades, belts and hoses, clutch assembly, battery, headlamps/bulbs/fuses, etc.

    “Our mission at Mopar is to offer our customers industry-leading solutions that add value and bring peace of mind to their lives," said Pietro Gorlier, head of Parts and Service (Mopar), FCA – Global.

    “Mopar Vehicle Protection is the only service contract in the industry offering this degree of comprehensive vehicle protection, backed by trained and certified technicians and genuine Mopar parts,” he said. “This is a true value proposition for our customers and one that we hope will keep them coming back to our network.”

    The Complete 360 plans also include first day and extended car rental allowance while the vehicle is being repaired, $100 “Sign & Go” towing and roadside assistance, $1,000 trip interruption protection and even key fob coverage.

    The “all-in” option covers the total cost of two worn tire replacements for the term of the plan, plus full road hazard tire and wheel protection, FCA said, as well as repairs for minor vehicle dings, dents, glass chips and cracks, as well as rips and tears to interior seats, carpet and trim.

    To purchase a Mopar Vehicle Protection plan, customers can contact their local FCA US dealership. Some restrictions apply. For more information on Mopar Vehicle Protection plans, visit the Mopar website.
