LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. (Dec. 3, 2015) — Snap-on Diagnostics, a division of Snap-on Inc., has added Verus Edge Training Solutions videos to its website and YouTube channel.
The 12 modules are designed to help navigate features and functionality of Snap-on's latest diagnostic tool, which it said comes loaded with vehicle coverage, expert resources and industry knowledge.
Topics the training videos cover include introduction and controls, capabilities overview, scanner codes, scanner data PID view, scanner data graphing view, technical service bulletins, troubleshooter, functional tests, global OBD-II, digital multimeter, graphing multimeter and guided component tests.
Each module is hosted by Jim Moritz, the company's national field trainer, who has developed more than 100 training courses and trained upwards of 100,000 students. He has more than 30 years of experience in automotive diagnostics, engineering, marketing, training and technical support, and his memberships and certifications include NASTF, ETI, SAE and ASE.
Snap-on said its Training Solutions videos are available to technicians 24/7, whenever it is most convenient for them. Accessing them is free-of-charge, and technicians can revisit the training sessions as often as necessary to learn at their own pace and comfort level.
“The five-minute Training Solutions videos teach all of the latest diagnostic techniques so technicians can get the most out of their diagnostic tools,” said Mark Schaefer, director of marketing, Snap-on Diagnostics. “They are offered as short instructional videos on specific topics, so technicians can quickly get answers on any aspect of tool operation.”
