BETHESDA, Md. (Nov. 13, 2015) — The Car Care Professionals Network (CCPN), an advisory committee of the Auto Care Association (ACA), has released Recommended Training Best Practices 2015.
The document is a set of best practices for providers of repair shop education and training.
The CCPN comprises successful repair shop owners and managers, the ACA said. The concept of the best practices document developed from a forum of association member warehouse distributors, manufacturers, manufacturers' representatives and the CCPN, it said.
The best practices document outlines the role of the shop owner and manager in seeking and providing available training for all staff, according to a press release. It describes the preferences of shops regarding training delivery, scheduling, content, cost and other areas affecting education and training effectiveness.
The best practices were submitted and discussed by CCPN members, then reviewed and approved at the forum, according to the ACA.
