ATLANTA (Nov. 13, 2015) — Kumho Tire USA Inc. has moved its corporate headquarters to Atlanta from Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., in order to “optimize the efficiency” of Kumho's organization in the U.S.
Locating the firm's headquarters in Atlanta will “help streamline communication and cooperation within our company by placing our management team and support staff in proximity” of the firm's factory being built in Macon, Ga., and a distribution center in McDonough, Ga.
The new headquarters is located in the Georgia Pacific building in downtown Atlanta.
The headquarters address is 133 Peachtree St., Suite 2800, Atlanta, Ga. 30303. Kumho listed a toll-free number, 800-445-8646, as the best way to reach its employees.
Kumho did not say how many employees are working at the new office.
Kumho Tire USA had been at its most recent address in Ranch Cucamonga since 2005.
Kumho expects to start production in January at the Macon plant,being built at Sofkee Industrial Park south of Macon.
