ST. LOUIS (Nov. 11, 2015) — The Automotive Service Association's (ASA) Second Annual Safety Inspection Forum will be held Dec. 2 in St. Louis.
Co-sponsored by the ASA, ASA-Midwest and the Missouri Alliance of Automotive Service Providers, the forum is designed to raise awareness about the importance of periodic vehicle inspection programs to highway safety and develop strategies to protect such programs nationwide, the ASA said.
Capt. Lester D. Elder of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a former director of the Missouri Motor Vehicle Inspection Division (MVI), will be a panelist at the forum along with Paul Rehbein, MVI senior chief inspector, and Sgt. Paul Meyer, Major Crash Team investigator.
