LAS VEGAS (Nov. 10, 2015) — Schaeffler Group launched REPXPERT 2.0 technical information and training website for the North American aftermarket during the AAPEX show in Las Vegas.

The website content includes information for all automotive professionals, including distributors, stores/jobbers, installers, automotive instructors and students, the company said. Job specific content, such as installation guides, product information, or marketing and sales materials are provided based on the job title and function of the user.

Registered users will be able to connect with Schaeffler experts through online chat and community forums. The site also offers quarterly e-Newsletters, new product information and announcements, and sales promotions.

Judy Love, marketing manager North America for Schaeffler Group USA, said what sets the website apart from other technical and training sites is that the user-friendly, modular-based site brings together the entire portfolio of product information, technical training and support, as well as installation and diagnostic materials.

Schaeffler also offers the option to request customized in-person technical training for distributors and stores or installers.

REPXPERT offers technical training on its products, including the Ford Double Clutch by LuK and the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Wheel Bearing Repair by FAG.

Over the next two years, Schaeffler plans to expand the modules and content available on the North American website. French and Spanish translations of all site content will be available in early 2016.

The website is available for both the U.S. and Canada markets. Repxpert.mx, with market-specific content for Mexico, will be launched in late 2016.

Schaeffler previously launched REPXPERT 1.0 for the European market. Registered users in Europe are now being transferred to the new website for their country.

REPXPERT is currently available for tablets. An app for Android and Apple phones is under development, the company said.

Registration is required to view the content on the website and registration is free. All technical and product materials are available to download for free to registered users. Automotive professionals can register at repxpert.us or repxpert.ca.

Schaeffler manufactures and distributes products to the automotive aftermarket under the brands LuK, INA, FAG and Ruville including drivetrain, engine and chassis system products.
