Bosch wins ACA 'Head of the Class' award

BETHESDA, Md. (Oct. 23, 2015) — Robert Bosch L.L.C.'s North American automotive aftermarket division has taken home the 2015-2016 Auto Care Association (ACA) “Head of the Class” award in the large company category.

The award, which is administered by the ACA's education committee on behalf of the association, recognizes companies that continually invest in employee education and training, the ACA said. Robert Bosch won the award in recognition of its comprehensive, competency-based portfolio of education and training options, which include leadership, professional readiness, technical/specialist, role/function, language and culture-specific training and career development.

Robert Bosch offers a variety of tools to support ongoing skill development needs, such as the Bosch GlobalNet intranet portal and Bosch Training Center.

Nancy Andersen, key account manager, Robert Bosch, along with Anthony Williams, senior human resources partner, and Tim Bruin, director, traditional program distribution, accepted the award on the company's behalf at the ACA's recent Fall Leadership Days event in Austin, Texas.

“Education and employee development have the full support from our leadership team,” said Nancy Andersen, key accounts manager, Robert Bosch. “Being a recipient of the training has enabled me, along with my fellow Bosch employees, to hone our skills both personally and professionally.”
