HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (Oct. 6, 2015) — Northeast/Mid-Atlantic wholesaler Max Finkelstein Inc. has upgraded its inventory management system to include “real-time” inquiry and electronic ordering, thanks to an integration solution from business software developers Andreoli & Associates Inc.
Max Finkelstein CEO Ira Silver said MFI was keen to provide its customers additional means of improving their business processes and serving their customers. Integrating its inventory with its customers' point-of-sale software, as expedited by Andreoli, “further demonstrates that commitment,” he said.
A&A's solution was to integrate its HITS BPOS — a cloud-based point-of-sale software — with MFI's inventory management.
Andreoli said the integration provides an “Inventory Manager” module that allows synchronization of replacement cost on a daily basis and can display in-house on an Inventory Lookup screen MFI's inventory availability and cost “side-by-side.”
“Our MFI integration makes it possible for our clients to look up inventory and order tires from MFI without having to leave our point-of-sale software,” said A&A President Mike Andreoli, who indicated this cooperation was in response to “multiple requests” A&A had received from Finkelstein customers.
A centralized call center complements the on-line e-commerce system and POS integrations, which can be found at www.maxfinkelstein.com.
Family-owned and -operated Max Finkelstein distributes tires and related products to thousands of dealers in a dozen states from Virginia to Maine. The company operates a delivery fleet of more than 150 trucks operating out of 12 distribution centers.
Huntersville-based Andreoli & Associates has been providing software to the tire and auto service industry since 1986.
