AKRON (Oct. 2, 2015) — Goodyear began offering free flat tire repairs in all company-owned Goodyear Auto Service Centers Oct.1.
Under the free flat-repair program, consumers who come to a Goodyear store with a flat passenger or light truck tire will be offered a free tire damage assessment and appropriate puncture repair following industry standard procedures, the Akron-based company said.
The program applies to most passenger car and light truck tires and is applicable only to individual consumers but does not include a new tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensor if one is needed. If the tire cannot be repaired, a replacement tire can be purchased and installed, the tire maker said.
