NOVA PRATA, Brazil (Sept. 25, 2015) — Brazilian retread materials producer Borrachas Vipal S/A will feature its ECO line of treads at the upcoming 40th National Transport Conference (Colfecar) in Colombia next month.
Colfecar will be held from Oct. 7-9 at the Hotel Las Americas in Cartagena, Colombia. Vipal said its product mix at the trade fair will feature the DV-RT4 tread for use in “transportation services that require a high level of tire performance.” The company plans to display its ECO tread line, which it said was “created with cutting-edge technology that ensures savings for the fleet owner while simultaneously benefiting the environment.”
For drive axles on paved highways, the DV-RT4 treads offer enhanced drive power and high mileage efficiency, according to Vipal, while providing resistance to abrasion and homogeneous wear through the end of its service life. The treads also offer “greater adherence on wet roads and excellent water drainage,” Vipal claims.
