STEVENSVILLE, Md. (Sept. 24, 2015) — Powertrain Products Inc., an online distributor of remanufactured engines, transmissions and refurbished automotive parts, has made it onto Inc. magazine's list of the fastest growing private companies in America.

Powertrain came in at No. 4679 on the Inc. 5000 List for 2015, showing growth of 53 percent in 3 years along with revenue of $7.4 million in 2014. The company claims it is now a leading supplier of refurbished automotive parts in the U.S.

Behind the motto, “Not Just Rebuilt, Re-engineered,” the company offers on its website re-engineered automotive engines, cylinder heads, transmissions, differentials and transfer cases.

Eddie Symonds, president and founder of Powertrain Products, said the company spends “countless hours correcting factory faults and poor engineering. This creates not only a more reliable product, but in many cases a product that operates better than it did new.”

Powertrain launched what it claimed was the industry's first “no fault” warranty in 2010 which, for a fee, provides coverage on all products, regardless of failure. The firm said the protection plan offers purchasers of its products protection “from negligent handling or installation by a mechanic” that would otherwise leave them with nowhere else to turn in the event of a mistake.

“We've invested heavily in our process and warranty services, to help provide the best service and support to our customers that we can,” Mr. Symonds said. “This allows us to provide a product that the consumer can always have peace of mind operating.”

Powertrain Products, founded in 2007, ships from 10 locations nationwide and has an inventory of over 5,000 products.
