MONROE, Mich. (Sept. 22, 2015) — Tenneco Inc.'s popular “Shocktober” consumer rebate program is returning this fall, giving customers a chance to receive four qualifying Monroe- or Rancho-brand shocks or struts for the price of three at participating stores.

The promotion, which runs through Oct. 31, will award consumers who buy a set of four qualifying shocks or struts with prepaid Visa cards equal to the lowest priced unit, up to the suggested list price. The company said qualifying products include Monroe OESpectrum, Sensa-Trac and Reflex shocks, struts and cartidges; Max-Air and Gas-Magnum shocks; Monroe Load Adjusting shocks; Monroe Quick-Strut replacement assemblies; and Rancho RS5000 shocks.

“Shocktober is a fun way to save money and stay safe, a great combination,” said Sheryl Bomia, programs manager, North America, Tenneco. “After a busy summer, fall is a great time to ask for a ride control inspection during your next service visit, and to replace worn ride control units when necessary. Shocks and struts play a critical role in safe driving by helping deliver satisfactory steering, stopping and stability.”

Program rules and restrictions can be found on Monroe's website.

All submissions must be postmarked by Nov. 30, 2015. To download rebate submission forms, click here or ask a participating automotive parts or service provider representative.

The Shocktober mail-in promotion does not cover installation or labor costs, Tenneco added.
