SOUTH BEND, Ind. (Sept. 8, 2015) — Belle Tire Inc. has opened its first two stores in Indiana and broken ground on a fourth location, in Elkhart.
To celebrate the grand opening if its second Indiana location, in Mishawaka, Belle Tire gave $25 gift cards to the store's first 25 customers on opening day, Sept. 2. Customers can also enter a sweepstakes Sept. 30 for a chance to win a $500 gift card.
Belle opened its first store in Indiana, in South Bend, in August.
The purpose-built 10,000-sq.-ft. stores include include 10 service bays, two alignment pits and a mezzanine warehouse built to hold more than 3,000 tires.
Elkhart is a city of about 51,000 inhabitants just east of Mishawaka.
Belle described its move into Indiana as an “important moment” in its 93-year history, marking its first move into a different state since expanding from Michigan to northern Ohio 30 years ago.
“We are continuing to spread our retail footprint here in Indiana with our second retail location,” said Don Barnes III, president of retail operations. “The community has been very supportive of our arrival and we are excited to continue to employ great local teams, share our personalized customer experience along with our robust menu of tire options and auto services.”
The new stores expand Belle Tire's network to 91 retail stores and four commercial tire centers in three states.
