LAS VEGAS (Sept. 2, 2015) — Retread industry leaders and professionals from around the world will meet in Las Vegas this fall to discuss retread issues that cross international boundaries and impact the industry as a whole.
The Tire Industry Association (TIA) and the Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau (TRIB) will host the Global Retread Symposium, which will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in the Upper North Hall - N258. The symposium will take place during Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show/Global Tire Expo.
According to TRIB and TIA, industry leaders will:
- Review the current state of the retread markets in the U.S., Europe and Latin America;
- Discuss efforts in each market to deal with the impact of low-cost imported tires; and
- Share technological advancements, best practices and operational efficiencies.
Anyone in the retreading industry is invited to attend the free-of-charge symposium. Attendees also are invited to attend the SEMA International Happy Hour at 5 p.m., immediately following the symposium.
In order to attend the symposium, the trade groups said attendees must be registered for the SEMA Show — registration information is available on the event's website.
