STOW, Ohio (Aug. 31, 2015) — Max-Trac Tire Co. Inc., which does business as Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels, has added to its Baja tire line and at the same time launched a fall consumer reward program, running Sept. 1 through Oct. 31, on selected tires and wheels.
The firm's new Baja MTZP3, a mud-terrain tire featuring what the company claims is a unique silica-reinforced tread compound, is available in 22 sizes ranging from 15 to 20 inches in rim diameter. The new tire features siped tread lugs for improved traction and stone ejection; angled shoulder scallops with mud-pocket scoops; sidewalls reinforced with the firm's PowerPly technology; and Mickey Thompson's signature SideBiters technology for improved handling on irregular surfaces.
“Our product development team has given consideration to every detail in the design and engineering of the new Baja MTZP3,” said Ken Warner, vice president of marketing for Mickey Thompson. “Owners will appreciate the rugged style and reliable performance in a variety of conditions, along with responsive handling on the street.”
The new tire is one of several eligible products included in a new consumer reward program — running Sept. 1 through Oct. 31 — through which customers can earn prepaid cards worth $75 for the purchase of a new set of four qualifying wheels or $100 for a set of qualifying tires.
Eligible tires include the Baja STZ, Baja ATZP3, Baja MTZ, Baja MTZP3, Baja Claw TTC and Deegan 38.
