WASHINGTON (Aug. 24, 2015) — The U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform has approved a bill that encourages the use of remanufactured parts in maintaining vehicles in the civilian federal fleet.
Passed in the committee https://oversight.house.gov/ by voice vote July 22, H.R. 1613 requires the head of each civilian government agency to use remanufactured parts in vehicle maintenance whenever using remanufactured parts would reduce costs while maintaining quality.
