ESCO taps Dyer as president

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. (Aug.19, 2015) — Equipment Supply Co. (ESCO) has promoted Steve Dyer to president, a new position for the company.

Mr. Dyer, ESCO's northeastern sales director for the past several years, will be responsible for working with and building relationships with the company's customer base worldwide, while working with ESCO's sales and customer service staff to manage day-to-day sales activities, the Brooksville-based firm said.

According to a company spokesman, Mr. Dyer will assume the duties previously handled by CEO Jeff Jobe, who is no longer with the company. ESCO was acquired by an investment firm in 2014.

Under Mr. Dyer's leadership, the northeastern territory for ESCO has grown more than 150 percent in the past four years, ESCO said. He helped develop business relationships with tire service equipment distributors and continues to strive to grow ESCO's product range and customers worldwide, the company said.

“Our objectives as a company have always been the same: work in direct relationship with our current and future ESCO product distributors and continue to aid in providing them with innovative and reliable tire service equipment and tools,” Mr. Dyer said.

“I am very excited for this new opportunity to work even closer with our current and future customers and will work diligently to aid our company in providing quality service before and after the sale.”

ESCO manufactures hydraulic tire bead breakers, pumps, rams and heavy lifting cylinders/jacks for the OTR, mining, heavy duty truck and agricultural tire service aftermarket.
