CLEVELAND — Michelin North America Inc.’s BFGoodrich brand made the 17th stop on its 2015 “Are You Driver Enough?” dealer tour in Cleveland on July 29. Local BFG dealers came out to the event to experience wet autocross and dry autocross sessions designed for them to test the Goodrich g-Force COMP-2 A/S tires.
Tom Sullivan, manager of public relations for Michelin’s BFGoodrich Tire unit, said that each stop on the tour has hit at least 75-percent capacity. There are about 30 spots open per session, with some locations holding multiple sessions.
In Cleveland, the company held two sessions hosting about 60 dealers overall. In total the company said it is looking to engage more than 2,000 dealers during the tour, which will have stopped in 21 cities by its conclusion.
