OKLAHOMA CITY (Aug. 11, 2015) — Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. has reopened the doors on its outlet in Van Horn, Texas, after undergoing a three-month raze and rebuild process.
The new store, along Interstate 10 at Exit 140, is 3,000 square feet larger than the store it replaced. Eventually, the 24/7 truck stop will feature a new Love's Truck Tire Care center, which is scheduled to open at a later date, according to the company. It will offer drivers new tires along with tire repairs and light mechanical services.
“The reopening of this store is an example of our goal to keep our nationwide store network new and fresh,” said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love's. “We're committed to building new locations and improving current facilities. The brand-new store in Van Horn provides customers with all new amenities and we're excited to reopen for our customers and team members.
The company said that for a limited time, professional drivers can earn up to five points with their “My Love Rewards” loyalty cards at all Love's locations.
Oklahoma City-based Love's, founded in 1964, operates more than 350 locations in 40 states and employs more than 12,000 people. It is currently ranked No. 13 on Forbes Magazine's annual listing of America's Largest Private Companies.
