FORT SMITH, Ark. (Aug. 10, 2015) — Goodyear has opened five Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers (CTS) in the past few months, expanding the company's network of CTS centers to 193 locations in 33 states.
The latest two to open are in Seattle, and in Chesapeake, Va., where Goodyear acquired and converted existing commercial structures to CTS locations.
Earlier this year Goodyear opened CTS centers in Dearborn, Mich.; Montgomery, Ala.; and Garland, Texas. In each case, Goodyear said it took over existing commercial properties and renovated them for use as tire centers.
“Our new locations will make it even easier for fleets to access premium Goodyear tires, retreads and services,” said Paul Wanstreet, president of Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers.
The Chesapeake center is Goodyear's first CTS in Virginia.
The new locations range in size from 4,460 square feet (Seattle) to 24,000 square feet (Dearborn) and have from two to four service bays, Goodyear said. The Akron-based tire maker offers its Goodyear-Fleet HQ 24/7 emergency roadside service from each location.
Each center offers the company's full range of Goodyear-, Dunlop- and Kelly-brand medium truck tires and Goodyear retreads along with a range of tire-related services.
