BRUSSELS (July 2, 2015) — The European Tyre Recycling Association (ETRA) will host the 23rd annual European Tyre Recycling Conference at the NH Hotel du Grand Sablon in Brussels March 16-18.
“Economics of Recycling” will be the theme of the conference, the ETRA said. The focus will be on building solutions to end-of-life tires that are both ecologically and economically beneficial, it said.
The ETRA said it will release further details of the conference program as they become available. However, the scheduled topics include pyrolysis, blending recycled rubber with textiles or other polymers, and new recycled products including road surfacing, insulation and automotive components.
In addition, the ETRA said it is planning seminars on tire recycling and civil engineering, to be held in Brussels and Venice.
