WAKEFIELD, Mass. (July 2, 2015) — Alliance Tire Americas Inc. has hired an Australian tire industry veteran to be its agricultural product manager and made three other personnel appointments to shore up it sales, engineering and logistics team across North America.
Alliance's new product manager is Trent Wallin, who joins Alliance from Tyres 4 U, Australia's leading independent tire distributor, where he gained experience in all aspects of the farm tire industry, including sales, marketing, tire testing and technical support.
He advanced to that company's national sales manager for agricultural tires before joining Alliance Tire.
“Trent's experience in agriculture and in the tire business are the perfect combination for his role with us,” said Bruce Besancon, Alliance's vice president of marketing. “In his role as agricultural product manager, he will assist in the development of new products as well as promoting and developing the current line of high-tech agricultural tires that the Alliance Tire Group has developed for the North American market.”
Mr. Wallin will split his time between the company's Wakefield headquarters and an office in Indianola, Iowa.
Other new hires, and their locations, include:
- Mark Hipkins, warehouse manager, Memphis, Tenn.;
- Ross Crory, supply chain analyst, Wakefield;
- Lee Janerico, customer service representative, Wakefield.
“We're building staff in areas that matter to our customers, from sales and customer service to our warehouse teams,” “We are continually building our capacity to get Alliance, Galaxy, Primex and Aeolus tires to them faster and more efficiently, then follow up with outstanding service in the field.”
