FORT MILL, S.C. (June 10, 2015) — The 2015 Hot Rod Power Tour, presented by Continental Tire — dubbed “the world's largest road trip” — has a couple of stops left on the schedule before concluding in Baton Rouge, La.

The event, sponsored by Continental Tire the Americas L.L.C., encompasses several thousand cars and over 1,500 miles. It began in Madison, Wis., on June 6 and already has rolled through Champaign, Ill., on June 7, and Memphis, Tenn., on June 9.

On June 10 the tour is in Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Birmingham, Ala., from noon until 7 p.m.; from noon to 7 p.m. June 11 in Centennial Plaza in Gulfport, Miss.; and from noon until 8 p.m. June 12 — the final day of the tour — at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Baton Rouge, La.

Hot Rod is hoping for official confirmation from Guinness World Record for its attempt at the 'World's Largest Group Burnout,' staged this week at Memphis International Raceway with more than 110 cars.

For those who can't make one of the stops, Conti said it is bringing the tour action live  to fans through its social media channels.

Similar to last year, race car driver Ryan Eversley, Conti's special social media correspondent, “will bring the sights, sounds and emotion of the Hot Rod Power Tour to life” via Continental's Twitter/Periscope and Instagram channels.

The Fort Mill-based tire maker said that while navigating the 1,500-plus mile trip, Mr. Eversley will highlight “Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives” along the way “in addition to showcasing some of the coolest classic cars, along with some current rides, all rolling on Continental tires.” On the Continental Tire channels he uses #RE to denote his posts.

Conti also is asking fans to send their photos from this year's tour  to @continentaltire using #PowerTour15.
