SOUTH BEND, Indiana (May 29, 2015) — Online tire retailer and mail order marketer Tire Rack has launched an updated consumer website, designed to provide faster and easier navigation for its more than 50 million annual visitors.
The new TireRack.com features an all-new look, improved navigation, a fresh user interface, updated product presentation and additional historical information, the South Bend-based company said. These upgrades are meant to speed consumers on their way to making the most informed tire decision with a large cache of user data complemented by Tire Rack's expertise and customer service.
Online shoppers have access to intelligence culled from more than 150,000 Tire Rack consumer surveys, currently representing more than 2.4 billion real-world miles of tire usage, according to the firm. Combined with the company's ongoing tire testing results, this database makes TireRack.com the “single most powerful resource for consumers who are researching and shopping for new tires,” the company said.
“Finding and buying the right tires should be as fast and easy or as in-depth and data-rich as an individual prefers,” said Matt Edmonds, vice president of Tire Rack. “For those who love to research their purchases, TireRack.com delivers enough tire data, how-to information, consumer feedback and other content to keep enthusiasts engaged for hours.
“However, for consumers who want to complete the process in minutes, we'll match their vehicle to the right treads and arrange for local installation quickly with zero hassle.”
In addition to Tire Rack's testing data and consumer feedback on tires, the new website also features an easy Find-Deliver-Install option for tires, wheels, parts and other accessories, along with a detailed history on Tire Rack's start as a brick-and-mortar store in the 1970s.
