DETROIT (May 18, 2015) — FCA U.S. L.L.C. honored Bridgestone Americas and Prime Wheel Corp. recently as suppliers of the year in the chemical and metallic categories.
FCA — Fiat Chrysler Automobiles — made the presentations at its fifth annual Qualitas Supplier Awards ceremony in April. FCA determines the Qualitas award winners on a rating system that evaluates supplier performance in areas such as quality, delivery, cost, warranty and partnership, plus input from FCA senior leadership.
Bridgestone said it was recognized for its role as a chemical commodity supplier that consistently exceeded FCA U.S.'s expectations by delivering quality and warranty, as well as for its collaborative approach to sharing innovations in rolling resistance technology.
