ISRI offers tire, plastics recycling videos

WASHINGTON (May 15, 2015) — The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Inc. (ISRI) has released two videos designed to provide the public with information about the value and impact of tire and plastics recycling.

They are the fourth and fifth in a series of educational videos promoting the recycling of different commodities, ISRI said.

Citing numerous statistics and industry facts, the videos highlight the environmental and economic contributions tire and plastics recycling make to the U.S., ISRI said.

 

They describe the recycling processes for tires and plastics in easily understood terms, according to the institute.

ISRI said the organization and its members will use the videos to educate legislators, schoolchildren and other national and community stakeholders on the benefits of tire and plastics recycling. The videos can be found on YouTube and by clicking here.
