DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (May 14, 2015) —Nexen Tire America Inc. is teaming with Canoe & Kayak magazine for a  “Dream Your Adventure” contest that offers a $10,000 prize toward a “life-changing paddling adventure.”

Nexen said the contest is the largest of its kind open exclusively to paddlers.

“We realize that many dreams and aspirations begin where the road ends, especially for paddling enthusiasts,” said Jaclyn Quesnel, marketing specialist, Diamond Bar-based Nexen Tire America.

“We're excited to partner with Canoe & Kayak and create a contest that will potentially change someone's life by turning a dream in to a reality.”

Participants can enter by going to Nexen's dedicated contest Facebook page, describing a dream adventure and uploading a photo. The winning entrant is the person who “captures the imagination of fellow paddlers best,” Nexen said,  as determined by online voting.

Entries are being accepted until June 20, with online voting set for June 21 to July 21. Nexen said the winner will be announced at the 2015 Canoe & Kayak Awards in Salt Lake City on Aug. 5.

Entrants must be legal U.S. residents and at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. The expedition must be completed by March 31, 2017.
