The Service Repair Leadership Forum will comprise leaders from all industry segments in the automotive service repair industry who will discuss issues, share knowledge, network with decision-makers and offer insight into the future of the industry, ASA said. A private reception will be held 4-6 p.m., July 23, and the forum will be held 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 24. Reservations are required as space is limited.
Mssrs. Newton and Greenwood will instruct two programs at the forum — “Marketing in Today's World without Mentioning Price” and “True Numbers and Opening Your Eyes to Profitability & Efficiency” — in addition to acting as co-masters of ceremony.
Other forum topics will include:
- The State of the Industry — The current state of repair shops, technicians, consumers and vehicles;
- Parts Quality — Identify how suppliers impact the quality of parts and the impact of returns;
- Periodic Motor Vehicle Inspections — International and U.S. perspective, moderated by Robert L. Redding, ASA's Washington representative; and
- Multi Shop Operators — Growing beyond the first location.
The forum also will have a presentation on emissions programs.
