KYB receives Parts Authority awards

NEW YORK (May 14, 2015) — Wholesale vehicle parts distributor Parts Authority Inc. honored KYB Americas Corp. with two awards at its annual trade show held April 28 at Citi Field in New York.

Rob Africano, KYB's northeast territory sales manager, was presented the outstanding service representative of the year while KYB was named a Parts Authority “partner of excellence.”

“I always like to tell my customers there is price, quality and service… pick two,” said Parts Authority President and CEO Randy Buller. “Rarely can a supplier deliver all three. KYB's quality, at their price point, coupled with the superb representation supplied by Rob Africano, allowed the triple play to occur.”

He said the two companies have had a 40-year partnership.

“We are honored to be recognized by Parts Authority for not only our partnership with their great organization, but the efforts of Rob Africano as well. Parts Authority is a valued customer and it's great to see the results of our joint efforts,” said KYB Vice President Mike Fiorito. “We also weren't surprised Rob received an award for his commitment. He is a very talented and dedicated individual and we are proud of what Rob has accomplished for the KYB Team.”

New York-based Parts Authority claims to be one of the largest distributors of automotive and truck parts on the East Coast, delivering from 29 warehouse locations throughout the greater New York City area.
